Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group, a proud member of Advocate Health—the nation’s third-largest nonprofit integrated health system—is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding children’s program in Macon, Georgia. This is a premier opportunity to provide high-acuity pediatric care within a community-focused, state-of-the-art children’s hospital while benefiting from the resources of a leading academic medical core.
As a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital (AHLCBKOCH), you will join the region’s only dedicated pediatric facility. You will be part of a robust multidisciplinary team supported by pediatric-specific anesthesia, NICU, PICU, and hospitalist teams.
This role is designed for a surgeon who values clinical excellence and program growth. With a service area covering over 50 counties and 45,000+ annual patient visits, you will treat a diverse clinical population with the support of 4 dedicated pediatric operating rooms and comprehensive diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized orthopedic surgical care to pediatric patients (infant through young adult).
- Collaborate with the pediatric trauma and critical care teams within our Level 1 Pediatric Trauma center environment.
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of pediatric orthopedic services in Central and South Georgia.
- Participate in professional development and potential leadership opportunities within the Advocate Health enterprise.

Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Active Georgia Medical License (or the ability to obtain one prior to start).
