Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) is seeking a committed, high-caliber PRN Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our outstanding clinical team in Temple, Texas. Description

As a PRN Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at Baylor Scott & White Health, you will step into a highly cooperative environment engineered for excellence. You will manage a diverse clinical caseload focusing on pediatric musculoskeletal conditions, congenital deformities, and pediatric trauma care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-tier surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care to pediatric and adolescent patient populations.
  • Collaborate actively with referring physicians, multi-disciplinary agencies, and healthcare professionals to optimize continuity of care.
  • Engage with an integrated network of advanced practice providers, pediatric subspecialists, and rehabilitation teams.
  • Maintain a strict focus on clinical quality, patient safety, and optimal delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
  • Currently licensed (or eligible to practice) medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Currently Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery, or demonstrating active pursuit of board certification as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
  • A proven work history demonstrating clinical excellence. Strong communication skills, a team-first mentality, and a history of working well with multidisciplinary clinical entities.
