Enloe Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our premier, hospital-based practice in Northern California. The Opportunity: Work Half the Year, Earn Full-Time Pay
Step into a well-oiled Ortho-Trauma machine. This role is designed for surgeons who value clinical excellence without the administrative burden of private practice.
- Elite Volume: Level II Trauma Center serving a six-county region of 400,000+ residents.
- Support System: 24/7 Physician Assistant coverage for clinic/ER/Inpatient consults, plus 12-hour PA surgical assist coverage (M-F).
- Infrastructure: Dedicated Orthopedic clinic staffed with APPs, technicians, and non-surgical Orthopedists.
- Zero Overhead: Focus entirely on patient care while the hospital manages the business operations.
Job Description & Schedule
We are adding a 4th surgeon to our established group. The schedule is equally split among the four surgeons, providing an unparalleled lifestyle:
- The Rotation: Work half the month/year; have half the month/year off.
- Daily Flow: Two surgeons are always on-site (1 Call, 1 Back-Up).
- Call Shifts (24 hrs): Covering OR cases and ER/Inpatient consults.
- Back-Up Shifts (Avg 6-8 hrs): Covering rounds, clinic, and overflow OR cases.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
- Successful completion of a Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Possession of or eligibility for a California State Medical License.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Estimated annual compensation range of $625,000 – $650,000.
