Job Summary
Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is looking to add a full-time pediatric Orthopaedic surgeon to join a busy three physician general pediatric Orthopaedic practice. KOC has been the premier Orthopaedic practice in East Tennessee for over 75 years, with over 50 fellowship trained physicians in all Orthopaedic subspecialties as well as non-operative sports medicine and physiatry. The practice will be centered at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital, the comprehensive regional pediatric center for East Tennessee, which provides state-of-the-art facilities, fully supportive medical staff including all medical and surgical subspecialties and complex imaging support.
Position highlights
Join 3 other pediatric Orthopaedic surgeons in a practice that has been the main provider of pediatric Orthopaedic care to the region for over 50 years. Practice includes patient populations in spine, hip, foot, limb deformity, neuromuscular and trauma.
Enjoy collaboration with adult fellowship trained partners in all other Orthopaedic specialties.
Work in the region’s premier children’s hospital with fully supported PICU, NICU, ER, advanced imaging and all medical and surgical subspecialties.

Dolly Children’s is a free-standing, independent, not-for-profit pediatric health care system serving the East Tennessee region. Annually, our hospital serves more than 130,000 patients including 10,000 surgery cases, 54,000 emergency visits and 43,000 urgent care visits at 5 area urgent care centers. Aligning with University of Tennessee Knoxville HSC, Dolly Children’s will start an accredited pediatric residency program in July 2027.

Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of ACGME accredited orthopedic residency program and fellowship in pediatric Orthopaedics Board certified or eligible by ABOS. Eligible for Tennessee medical license.
