White Plains Hospital Physician Associates (WPHPA) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our rapidly expanding, award-winning health network in Westchester County, NY. Position Description
As an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon with WPHPA, you will step into a robust, thriving practice with an established patient base. You will utilize cutting-edge diagnostic technology and advanced surgical suites to deliver world-class care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Clinical Care: Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of upper extremity conditions involving the hand, wrist, and forearm—including trauma, degenerative diseases, nerve compressions, and congenital disorders.
- Advanced Surgical Procedures: Perform a broad spectrum of surgeries, including complex fracture fixation, microvascular surgery, tendon and nerve repairs, ligament reconstructions, and minimally invasive/arthroscopic techniques.
- Collaborative Continuum of Care: Develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans and collaborate closely with an elite team of orthopedic specialists, primary care providers, and our dedicated on-site physical and occupational (CHT) therapists to optimize patient recovery.
- Clinical Advancement: Interpret advanced diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT, and ultrasound), participate in health system quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the advancement of evidence-based clinical practices.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical School (MD or DO).
- Successful completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
- Possess or be eligible for an active, unrestricted New York State Medical License.
